The Silver Gala is set for Saturday, September 7, at Kigali Convention Center Auditorium, and Nigerian artiste Runtown has just arrived in Kigali for the occasion. Born Douglas Jack Agu, Runtown, 35, is a singer, songwriter, and producer. He last performed in Rwanda in 2017, eliciting mixed reactions, and is known for popular tracks like ‘Mad Over You’, ‘For Life’, ‘Energy’, and ‘Bend Down Pause’, featuring Wizkid and Walshy Fire. The Silver Gala is expected to convene business leaders, entrepreneurs, and influencers for an evening of fashion, entertainment, and powerful moments, featuring surprise guest performances and a lineup of notable speakers, all aimed at uplifting about 660 children and youth associated with the Sherie Silver Foundation.
