Djibouti Premier League side Gendarmerie FC on Monday, September 2, unveiled experienced Rwandan gaffer Innocent Seninga as their new head coach.

The veteran tactician signed a one-year deal with the Djibouti City-based club as he hopes to propel them to the league title after their 6th place finish in the 2023/24 season.

Seninga has been without a club Sunrise FC fired him after failing to reach his target which was to lead the club to the top six at the end of the 2021/22 season.

He previously handled teams including Police FC as well as Musanze FC. Seninga becomes the second Rwandan coach to move to a foreign club this season after Andre Casa Mbungo who joined Jamus FC of South Sudan.
