Sandvikens IF midfielder Yannick Mukunzi has again suffered a serious knee injury that will keep him out for at least three months. The Rwanda international returned to action in April after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury and has been performing well at the club during the current campaign until June when he picked up another injury. The 28-year-old, who has been playing for the Swedish team for the past five years, limped off the training pitch in pain after sustaining a knee injury during Friday’s training session. The former Rayon Sports and APR midfielder has played six league games for Sandvikens IF so far this season. He made his last appearance on June 16 before leaving the pitch in the 62nd minute injured as his side went on to beat Oddevold 2-0. He returned to full training on Friday before suffering yet another knee injury. Mukunzi has played 100 games for Sandviken IF over the course of five seasons.
