HIP HOP AND DRILL FANS are in for a treat as Loud Sound music label prepares to drop its second studio recorded album. Dubbed Rwanda Rw’ejo II, translated as ‘Rwanda’s future’, the project is in its final touches, founder of the music label, Pro Zed, has confirmed. The album follows Rwanda Rwe’jo 1 which is behind the boosting of the drill genre in Rwanda and holds hits like ‘Mukarukundo’, ‘300’, ‘Yuda’, ‘Drill Season One’, ‘Baby’ among many others that are still played in the country. Pro zed, the producer of the project told The New Times that following how drill fans have been requesting another Rwanda Rw’ejo project, he decided to hit the studio and started the making of the album which is slated for late June. He said that the album will feature most of the ‘drillers’ who appeared on Rwanda Rw’ejo 1 such as Ririmba, Og2tone, Logan Joe, Ish Kevin, yannick Myk and many others. “It is still going to be a project of only the young boys and girls making the new wave in Rwanda. We are working with most of the artistes that appeared on Rwanda Rwe’jo 1 but I have added new talents on the track list and I am sure that they will kill it,” producer Zed told The New Times. The producer further revealed that Rwanda Rwe’jo II is produced in different genres such as drill, Trap, and Hip Hop, by young producers, including Ehlers who is the youngest beat maker in Loud Sound music and Joeca$$h. “I can’t be precise about the number of tracks on the album but so far I have more than 10 songs that I am working one in the studio. The number might increase but I can assure our fans that all the songs will be bangers,” said Zed. Loud Sound music is a record label of only the young generation in Rwanda’s music industry making the new wave. Some of the big names in the label include Kenny Kshot, Ish Kevin, Ririmba, Derek YMG and many others.
