The Business to Business (B2B) department of Canal + Rwanda has announced an offer for hotels and apartments as Rwanda sets to host the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), in late May and June, respectively. According to Jean-Félix Mwizerwa, Key Account Manager at Canal Plus Rwanda’s B2B Department, the offer will give hotels and apartments a chance to select the channels they want to be included in their bouquet and will come with a negotiable discount which will depend on the number of rooms a hotel or apartment needs to connect to the service. “As B2B, we are ready to welcome everyone who is interested in our package. In a hotel, you can’t watch all 200 channels but we have some categories like sport, information, documentaries, music, series, actions, you can choose from,” he said. “We have everything the hotel might need in this particular period. As you know, we are the ones who will stream the BAL live. I invite everyone to take this opportunity and buy Canal + Sport 1 where the tournament will be aired.” Mwizerwa also noted in a survey his department conducted, they found out that most of the people who stay in a hotel spend 4 hours or more watching TV, adding that it makes TV the most needed service in every hotel. One may choose to work with Canal Plus Rwanda for many reasons that include free lease of equipment, accessing best of sports, cinema and series as well as programs that are available in HD, and the chance to have channels on their bouquet exchanged for free. According to Mwizerwa, Canal + Business also offers after-sales services such as welcome calls towards new clients, monthly call concerning their service via clients, back office support concerning clients’ issues, free of charge on changing channels, technical free visit per semester, end of the year celebration with their clients as well as offering goodies to their new clients.
