Musanze FC have written to Rwanda FA to investigate and possibly take punitive measures against assistant referee Saidi Ndayisaba and centre referee Moise Murindangabo for their hand in club’s 1-0 defeat against AS Kigali in a Rwanda Premier League match day 2 game at the Kigali Pele Stadium on Monday, August 28. Forward Tressor Kwizera thought he had put the visitors ahead in the 15th minute but Murindangabo controversially ruled the goal out for offside, a decision that sparked protests from coach Sothene Habimana and his players. AS Kigali then came in the second half to net the winner through Didier Ndayishimiye in the 46th minute. The players again claimed that the goal should have been disallowed because their player Solomon Adeyinka was fouled in the buildup before AS Kigali scored the lone goal of the game.
