Renowned Nigerian artiste, Rema, has announced that he will return to Kigali this year during his long awaited Rave and Roses world tour. The ‘Calm Down’ hit maker announced his performing act in Rwanda on a flyer linked on all his social media platforms on Sunday that indicated cities and countries to witness this world tour. Other countries to see the Rave and Roses tour include Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, France, Canada, Italy, Belgium, South Africa, to mention a few. Rema last performed in Rwanda during the All Star basketball game held last year on November 20, at Kigali Arena. After his previous performance in Kigali, the 21 year old afro singer told this publication that he would come back to Kigali after releasing his debut album. “I’ve had a lot of fun in this country. The climate is nice, people are amazing, the turn up is crazy, and the love for music here is mad. Can’t wait to be back,” Rema said, during an exclusive party that was held at Century Park last year. The tour follows the release of his 17-track debut album ‘Rave and Roses’, a project that holds bangers like Dirty, Addicted, Calm Down, Soundgasm, most of them produced by London, English-born Nigerian-raised producer and disc jockey. In collaboration with a hoard of remarkable producers including Andre Vibez, Sarz, London, Dez Wright, Kill September, 1 Mind, Kel P, KDagre8t, Higo, and Altims, Rema gives birth to his new sub-genre AfroRave. The project also holds Features from U.S singers Chris Brown and 6LACK, UK rapper AJ Tracey and French singer Yseult. Dates and tickets for the Rave and Roses tour will be communicated soon, according to Mavin Records, Rema’s management record label.
