Second division results Isae 1-4 Aspor Electrogaz 0-0 Amagaju Jaguar 3-0 Flash Military 0-0 Musanze Etoile 3-0 RFC KHI 0-3 Mapinduzi BY BONNIE MUGABE The Northern Province based club Isae Busogo faced rough test as they lost 1-4 to Kigali based Aspor in the second division national league played at Ruhengeri on Saturday. Aspor playing away scored their goals through Seth Byishimo (20), Claude Nsabimana (30), Swaib Nkurunziza (65) and Pierre Sindayigaya (83). Isae Busogo got their consolations through Jean Pierre Ndayisaba as they failed to capitalise from many vital goal scoring opportunities. In other Group B games, leaders Musanze failed to avenge its shocking 0-1 first round defeat when they were held to a goalless draw by Militant Fc at Camp Kanombe. Musanze who came closest to scoring through their second half dominancy wasted several chances as striker Ismail Kalisa’s shot went far wide from the goal posts. Despite the draw, Musanze still leads group B with 39 points with Aspor in second position with 31 points while Military in third with 29 points. Elsewhere, in group A, group leaders Electrogaz was held to a goalless away to Amagaju in Gikongoro. Both rival teams were yearning for points which would differentiate their point-gap on the table. Both clubs are seeded in Group A and have a slim four-point difference. Electrogaz top the group with 39 points, four ahead of Amagaju. Rwanda National University and Interforce who lie in third and fourth places with 30 and 25 points respectively have their sight set on the league’s quarter-final stage. The top four clubs in each group (A and B) proceed into the quarter-final stage that kicks off in September. Other results include; Mapinduzi, Etoile de l’est, Jaguar and Mapinduzi bagged free points after their opponents Flash and KHI dropped out of the league due to financial constraints. ENDS
