Wednesday IPRC-Kigali Vs UR-CMHS BBC 6pm REG vs Tigers 6pm Champions Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will take on Tigers Basketball Club in top flight action on Wednesday, March 23 at the Amahoro Outdoor Stadium. The game gets underway at 6pm. The regular season of local basketball started on March 11, and already, some matches have been played as clubs vie for this years title. REG has just returned from Senegal where they participated in the Basketball Africa League (BAL), a tournament in which they put up a great performance that saw them top the Sahara Conference which comprised teams from 6 different African countries. Elia Kaje, the team captain of REG told Times Sport that they are prepared for the local challenge. “We have prepared very well, morale is high and if the players implement our game plan, we have a good chance, he said. Tigers are set to play their fourth match against REG after winning two home games against Rusizi BBC and UR CMHS BBC, while they lost one to the Patriots. After their game with Tigers, REG will play with UGB in game two of the national basketball league on Friday.
