RENOWNED RWANDAN GOSPEL STAR, Patient Bizimana has revealed plans to release his fifth studio album titled ‘Ipfundo’, which is expected to be out before the end of 2022. Patient confirmed this in an interview with The New Times on Tuesday after the premiering of ‘Ipfundo’, the first released song on this albums’ track-list. He said that this is not like his past projects, because it has uniqueness from the genres and sounds he used in its production, to lyrics and features that will appear on it. “This album is special because I produced it after changing my status. It is the first big project that I am going to showcase after getting married,” Patient said. He also revealed that audio production of almost all songs on Ipfundo is done and the next track on the track list, Impano, which he composed for his wife, will be out next month. This album follows some of Patient’s best projects that made him a household name in the country including his first album entitled ‘Ikime Kigitondo’ that had songs like Menye Neza, Iyi Neza, Nongeye Naje and many others. This was followed by Impumuro yo Guhembuka, Ibihe Byiza and Ikimenyetso, albums that trended for a long time with tracks that are still used in praise and worship sessions of different churches in Rwanda. His upcoming album will hold eight tracks all produced in different genres of music with surprise features. The singer who is one of the most celebrated gospel musicians that Rwanda has in its ranks recently married his US-based fiancée Gentille Uwera. The gospel singer has been nominated for and won some prestigious gospel music awards, including the Groove Awards, a Kenyan annual gospel music award that recognises outstanding gospel music personalities from across the region.
