REAL NAME, Eric Bizimana, Bizzy is a young rising video director with a passion to make educative documentaries about life. Born and raised in Rwanda, Bizzy chose to begin his journey in the multimedia sector after completing high school in 2019. After running up and down in Kigali looking for a job in vain, he found himself making documentaries and being involved in the world of videography and photography. Having attended short course trainings for six-months, he says that he is planning on extending his studies for him to learn more about the craft. The 24-year-old is mostly passionate about telling stories through documentaries on his YouTube channel, Motion Team which he plans to make a team of videography and photography in the future. Some of the documentaries he made include ‘My life’, ‘Lockdown’ which all reflected on what he sees around him in society. His first documentary was about a girl he met on the road but after listening to her life story, he decided to make a documentary about his life. Talking more about his work he explained that he just finished a new documentary titled ‘I am the voice’. “I am the voice is about a boy who ended up in the streets due to his drug addict dad who repeatedly beat his mum every night he got home, “he said. He revealed that even though being a video director in Rwanda pays, his main aim is to make documentaries that are on an international level so he can be invited to international festivals like in the United States. He however explained that not having full equipment to perform every task has been the main challenge as a video director so far. He added that together with friends whom they work with as a team, sometimes they have to rent some cameras for them to perform better A part from different documentaries he has so far produced, he worked on confy’s song dubbed ‘Shenge’ and ‘Mfata’ by Timmy.
