In an interview with Times Sport, Robert John Pack Jr, REG’s head coach, recognized how strong SLAC is, but declared his team’s ambition to win every game in this Sahara conference. “We are ready to give all we have. We want to finish unbeaten in the Sahara Conference, and it is possible, he said. In a separate interview, point-guard Jean Jacques Nshobozwabyosenumukiza, also spoke about how important they think of their opponents. We are all in good shape and we want to win this game because it will give us more hope of advancing to the playoffs in Kigali,” he said He added: We are a good team. We are getting to know our new teammates better, and we will be adhering to what the coach tells us. We want to play as a team and thats when we will get good results. In the last game, Nshobozwabyosenumukiza was one of the key performers for REG, registering 3 points and six rebounds. “It was a very important win because it was the very first BAL game for us. Our team was hungry to get this win. We did a great job as a team,” he said.
