Loosely translated as “Let’s go to Jerusalem”, the latter is an initiative of the Israeli embassy in Rwanda alongside other partners to promote youth talents in creative and other critical socio-cultural aspects notably performing arts. It was, for the first time slated in April 2021 but later on postponed due to the movement restrictions to reduce the spread of Coronavirus. Mbonyicyambu who is the first beneficiary of the initiative will visit and perform at different sites of the holy land such as Galilea, Golgotha and Nazareth among others. The artist and his band are also expected to perform alongside Avraham Tal, an Israeli renowned singer, musician and producer. When the tour was announced in 2020, Mbonyi described it as an opportunity to raise the Rwandan music industry to the international level.
