Ugandan forward Emmanuel Okwi has signed for AS Kigali despite previously agreeing to return to his former club Kiyovu Sport. The veteran attacker appended his signature to a one-year deal with the Citizens as he opted against joining his ex club. Reasons for Okwi's sudden change of mind to join AS Kigali remain a mystery but according to close sources, the offer tabled by the Citizens was too good to resist. Elsewhere, Musanze FC have signed Nigerian forward Johnson Adeaga Adeshola on a two-year deal. The left footed striker spent four fruitful years at Gorilla FC before being released at the end of the 2023/24 season when his contract expired.
