Rwandan teenager Kalebo Uwimbabazi has been drafted into the Pitea IF senior team and handed a new one-year contract. Uwimbabzi, 18, was very clinical for the Pitea Under-19 team in the Swedish Youth League last season and has now been rewarded with a fresh deal to continue his development with the first team, which plays in the Swedish Division 2. Despite mainly being a center-forward, versatile Uwimbabazi can also operate on the wings due to his electric pace and ability to cut in from both flanks and score goals. He has widely been labeled as a player who can get to the top in the next couple of years due to his immense talent. Uwimbabzi was born to Rwandan parents in Sweden but is yet to be capped internationally at any level.
