JACQUES Tuyisenge, the skipper of two-time reigning champions APR, insists it is only a matter of time before he recovers his scoring form again. After sitting out the last two months with injury, Tuyisenge could make his league return on Sunday when APR face leaders SC Kiyovu in a top-of-the-table clash. Since his sensational move to APR as a free agent in September 2020, the 30-year-old forward has only scored two goals for the army side and will be hoping to break his duck against former club SC Kiyovu, whom he played for in 2009. “I know if I keep getting in the right areas and carry on playing like I am right now, I will score goals. I will keep training hard and working on my finishing,” said Tuyisenge, who is also assistant captain of the national team. “I am not worried about it.” Tuyisenge was signed for Rwf40 million after a short stint with Angolan giants Petro de Luanda. APR, who has two games in hand, sit second on the league table with 23 points after nine games, just one point behind SC Kiyovu. The latter have not won a league title since 1993.
