Editor,I am a die hard Liverpool fan and have closely followed the team’s efforts to realise the dream of ending a title drought by winning the trophy after a stunning 19 years. But having witnessed Arsenal’s Andrey Ashavin single-handedly deliver a serious blow to our title ambitions this season, I can not help but speak out to who ever is willing to listen. I must praise Liverpool’s spirit and ambitions following a similar result in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge last week though defensive weaknesses fatally undermined a vibrant attacking display. We tried to capitalise on our supremacy but the lavishly-gifted Arshavin had different ideas and Liverpool’s control was far from complete. So whether you call us Liverfool or Looserpool or whatever, one thing I know for sure is that we will never walk alone. Remera Poetic_african@yahoo.com
