Rwandan afro pop musician Platini Nemeye, also known as Platini P, is set to entertain music lovers at the University Musical Concert that will take place at the University of Rwanda – College of Business and Economics (UR-CBE), Gikondo on December 18. The concert was organised by Career Hub Entertainment which is comprised of different students of UR-CBE. According to Alain Bertin, one of the organisers, the aim of the concert is to entertain students and to promote their career through talent show and ensure sustainability and transferability underpins their development program, looking forward to tailoring it to a broader and more specific audience. He said that they invited Platini because he is a trending super star, not only locally but also internationally, adding that many audiences whether students or people from outside the university love him as well as his music. Last month, Platini performed at Sierra Leone’s Ecofest which is an annual event organised by Sierra Leonean entertainment guru and music promoter known as Kabaka group multimedia Entertainment. Bertrand revealed that he will be at UR-CBE with his dance crew, adding that Breakers dance crew, Wattson modeling crew and different upcoming artistes from the University of Rwanda and outside will also perform. The event will be hosted by MC Abou Wiz and Beikon Watola. DJ Lion and DJ Vanny will mix the music. The entrance fee to the concert is Rwf 3000 for students and Rwf 5000 for the rest.
