The Rusizi Stadium will be the center of attraction on Saturday afternoon as Espoir FC host Mukura Victory in a tough Rwandan premier league week 8 clash. Mukura Victory started the season poorly but are now picking up despite having three outstanding games to honor, they are unbeaten in the last two of the four games they have played so far. Espoir FC on the other hand have won two, drew five and lost just once this season. Their victories included a convincing 2-0 away win over Police FC on match day two. Last season, Espoir defeated Mukura Victory both home and away with the scores at Rusizi being 3-1 and they will be hoping to achieve the same feat on Saturday. The loss of striker Sadick Sulley to Bugesera FC has really affected the attacking play of Espoir but Coach Moussa Gatera is gradually shaping up his team as he is making good use of the players at his disposal who include Fred Muhozi, Victor Murdah and Idrissa Dagnogo. Mukura Victory are relying on Ghanaian import William Opoku-Mensah as they begin to find their rhythm. He netted a hat-trick in the 4-0 defeat of Etoile de l’est last week and will be vital if his side can come out of Rusizi unscathed. The game will certainly be an interesting one with both sides being very efficient in attack although they have lapses at the back. On the basis of their output in the league so far, Espoir look favorites to take the three points.
