GHANAIAN attacker William Opoku-Mensah is pleased after netting a hat trick in Mukura Victory 4-0 win over Etoile de l’est in the Rwanda Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The nimble footed forward was the star of the day at Huye Stadium as his exploits ensured that the Southern Province based club picked their biggest win so far this season. Opoku-Mensah was happy with his performance as he maintains that the effort he puts in training is yielding dividends. “I am feeling great after netting my first hat trick in the ongoing campaign.” Opoku-Mensah told Times Sport “I have been working very hard in training and I’m not surprised about the hat trick. It is as a result of what I do, I am going to push extra harder for more goals.” The talented striker further added that the fans should expect more from him now that he has opened his account for the season. “I believe there is a lot to come now that I have started scoring, the fans should keep supporting me and I will deliver,” He added. Opoku-Mensah’s goals came in the 9th, 27th and 90th minute in the one-sided encounter as Mukura Victory completely annihilated the newly promoted side. This is the second time the Ghanaian import has scored thrice for Mukura Victory in a single game as last season his hat-trick against AS Muhanga saved his club from relegation.
