Responding to a question from the press regarding the foreign players’ quota, Munyentwari said an official decision on the issue is imminent. Last year, we increased the number of foreign players by one (from five to six in the starting 11). Currently, we are reviewing this issue again, taking into account several factors, he said. “The decision will be communicated soon, but our main goal is to enhance the quality of players, whether they are foreigners or Rwandans,” he added. According to sources, a final decision on the number of foreign players allowed on the match-day roster is expected by Monday.
