Rwandan tactician Thierry Hitimana will revert back to his deputy head coach role at Tanzanian giants Simba SC in the ongoing season. The Lions have appointed former Real Madrid assistant coach Pablo Franco as the clubs new boss on a two-year deal and Hitimana will be his deputy. The Rwandan who served in the same capacity under Didier Gomes Da Rosa was handed the head coach job on interim basis last week following the departure of the Frenchman as the club was looking for a substantive coach and he is now back to his old role. Hitimana who previously coached Rayon Sports as well as Bugesera FC is expected to learn a lot from the former Madrid assistant coach who worked under Coach Julen Lopetegui and later Santiago Solari in 2018. Simba are currently second in the Tanzanian topflight league log with eleven points from five games.
