Rwanda Premier League side Musanze FC has added six new players to its squad ahead of the 2024/25 season which gets underway on August 18. The Northern Province based team finished the 2023/2024 league season in third place, only behind giants Rayon Sports and champions APR FC. This was the club’s best performance ever since it was established. The new players include goalkeeper Gad Muhavenayo who joined from Gorilla FC, left back Gad Ndizeye from Police FC, midfielder Ashraf Kamanzi from Mukura Victory Sports, and central defender Christian Mukengere from Bugesera FC. The international players who have joined the club include Hyadara Buba, a Gambian player, Sunday Inemesit, a Nigerian who most recently played for Etoile de L'Est, and Cameroonian Nkofor Ngafei who joined from Tanzania's Coastal Union. Stylish Ugandan midfielder cum winger Salim Abdallah also recently joined the team, bringing experience from the top Ugandan teams for which he has featured previously including SC Villa and Uganda Revenue Authority. Times Sport understands that Musanze is continuing with transfer business as it is in final talks with goalkeeper Jean de Dieu Nsabimana who previously played for Bugesera FC.
