The womens basketball league match between The Hoops and APR that was scheduled for Saturday, October 2, at Amahoro indoor stadium has been postponed to a later date, the Basketball governing body has announced. The game was postponed on the request of The Hoops Rwanda who said they weren’t able to prepare for the match at their training base at Lycée de Kigali since the school head teacher Martin Masabo passed away earlier this week. In a letter addressed to the club management, Ferwaba approved their request and agreed to postpone the game to a later date. “We are pleased to inform you that your request has been accepted because the reason you have given is understandable. The date and hours of the match will be announced in due course,” the letter reads in part. The Hoops sit top of the women’s basketball league table with 16 points, four points ahead of third-placed APR.
