Pawlin Brown, a growing music artist is targeting big things in Rwandan music. Paulin Ukwishaka, commonly known as Pawlin Brown, is a 26-year-old RnB music artist based in Rwanda who has been making music since 2018. With his latest song Mayor out, Pawlin is positive that his music will go places. Besides singing he is a songwriter, who began singing when he was eight years old and progressed to karaoke as he grew older. With his first song in 2018, he formally began making music as a career. “The journey is never easy, but as long as you love what you do, success comes easy,” Pawlin said. He added that music is one of the many ways he creates a remarkable positive impact and is free to express his thoughts. “It is a way of changing people’s opinions about some situations that happen in this world. When I was a child, I always dreamt of me becoming a great music artist. So as I grew up, I got the opportunities and then started to pursue my dream, which led me to where I am today,” Ukwishaka said. Asked about where his inspiration comes from, the artist gave credit to life. “Daily life chores and struggle, people’s words and thoughts are among the things that inspire me, that keeps me going, not giving up what I started,” he said “The Rwandan music industry is evolving day by day, with new sounds and many new talents; it no longer relies on two or three music performers as it once did, but rather on everyone with the ability, support, and love for music, which includes all artists.,” said Ukwishaka “I believe Rwandans are doing a tremendous job; we just need to put in more effort to get further,” he added. So far, Pawlin Brown has released five songs: Teamo, Igendere, never leave me, Defender ft Bulldog, and the latest song called mayor, which has been toping local music charts.
