Forward Lague Byiringiro had his name back on the scoreboard as his 97th minute strike helped Sandviken IF thrash Gefle IF 4-0 in Week 17 encounter of the Swedish second tier league on Saturday, August 3. The Rwanda international had not found the back of the net since his side started playing in the second tier league in April. While he last scored for Sandviken on September 16, 2023, when they beat Taby 3-0 in the third tier league, it took the former APR FC star 17 games to break his goal drought.
