The national volleyball team head coach Paulo de Tarso has named his final 14-member squad head of the 2021 CAVB Volleyball Nation’s Championships set to be staged in Kigali September 7-16. Out of the initial 16 players, Paulo picked 14 that will take in the continental championship. The Brazilian dropped Prince Kanamugire and Samuel Niyogisubizo. All teams have arrived in country and include: Tunisia, Tanzania, Niger, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan and Uganda. A technical meeting will be held later today to conduct draws on how teams will face each other. The Rwandan delegation has pitched camp at Radisson Blu Hotel. It is the first time the country will be organising the biggest volleyball event on the continent.
