Former Miss Rwanda 2009 Grace Bahati tied the knot with Pacifique Murekezi on Saturday, September 4, in a glamorous wedding attended by relatives, friends and different Rwandan celebrities in Virginia, USA. Grace and Pacifique were beaming with smiles as they walked to the reception accompanied by Grace’s son Ethan Jedidiah. The 30-year-old looked beautiful in a long glamorous dress while her husband wore a well-fitting black and maroon suit. On the night of the couple’s introduction wedding, Pacifique told Ally Soudy on his show that what he loved about Grace when they first met was her heart. The two made their relationship public in December 2018 when Grace posted a photo captioning it ‘He has made this year amazing’. Singers Meddy and The Ben performed Meddy’s song ‘My Vow’ at the wedding while the lovebirds enjoyed intimate moments on the dance floor, surrounded by friends and family. A host of Rwandan celebrities including Meddy and wife Mimi, The Ben, Ally Soudy, Cedru, Jay Rwanda, Ernesto and fellow Miss Rwanda crown winners Aurore Kayibanda (2012), Elsa Iradukunda (2017) and Meghan Nimwiza (2019) among others attended the wedding. According to the sources, Pacifique Murekezi is a son of Raphael Murekezi, commonly known as Fatikaramu, a former Rayon Sports player who was killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. In an Instagram post, Bahati Grace posted her glamorous ring and tagged her now-husband with the hashtag PGLOVE, which is a combination of their names. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
