Burundi international Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana was Friday, August 2, spotted training with Kiyovu Sports as talks ove ra move to the club continue. The former Rayon Sports striker has been without a club since Libyan outfit Al Ahli Benghazi released him in February and he is now looking to revive his career with the Blues’ traditional rivals. Bimenyimana enjoyed a successful spell with Rayon Sports helping the team to win the 2018/19 league title. He was also part of the squad that reach the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup in the same season. He went on to play for clubs including Atlantas in Lithuania, Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa and Pohronie in Slovakia among others. Ugandan midfielder Hamzah Mulambuzi is also close to joining Gasogi United. Times Sport can confirm that he is currently in Kigali to finalise talks with the club before putting pen to paper for an unspecified period. Mulambuzi has been without a club since being released by SC Villa in January. Times Sport also understands that Police FC have allowed left-back Christian Ishimwe to travel to Morocco as deal with Renaissance Zemamra beckons.
