Editor, Having watched the handover of power in America with former leaders, opposition members, and people of all walks of life present, made me wonder when Africa will catch up! In many African countries the opposition or former presidents would not have attended. Some would have a point that elections were not free and affair. We have leaders constantly breaking their promises to retire and hand over, pretending they still have something to do when they are destroying the institutions that should improve their countries. Our biggest problem is the sniveling, lying flatterers who insist on convincing these leaders that they are indispensable. I think presidential term limits are essentials they are good for any country. Jubilee Amooti Kampala Uganda
