‘Kinyatrap’ rapper Jean Paul Hagenimana and RnB singer Aime Muvunyi Mbaraga are set to entertain music lovers with a live performance at the on-going Iwacu Muzika Festival 2021, scheduled for today, August 21. The virtual event will take place at Kigali Arena, and as usual, will be broadcast live on Rwanda Television at 8:45pm. Bushali told The New Times that he is ready and excited to entertain music lovers again and that they should be ready for an amazing show. “It is an honour to be performing for the second time in this festival and I have put enough effort in preparing for the concert because I want to give my fans the best show. People should be ready, and their screens as well because my performance will be fire,” Bushali said. He recently launched an EP dubbed KIVURUGA that has 5 songs and produced by a German-Ghanaian music producer and DJ. “My EP just got out and I am working on the videos of the songs on that EP to be released soon. I am also planning on realising new singles; Rwandans should be ready because there is so much in store for them. My new EP can be found on my YouTube channel and I ask people to watch and share it,” he said. In an interview with The New Times, Bluestone said that music lovers should wait and see what he has prepared for them but it is all about giving people a good performance. “It is a great opportunity to have got this chance to show people how good I am and my music to many people who follow this festival. My fans and all music lovers should expect a great performance that I have prepared for them. I took enough time to rehearse with the band, so we are ready to give Rwandans a great show. “I ask my fans to keep supporting me and keep watching and sharing my new single ‘ Monica’ that they can find on my you tube channel,” Bluestone said. This festival is back again for a double experience with Bushali and Bluestone, following previous performances by Platini who opened the festival on June 26, RDF Military Band, Mani Martin, Cyusa Ibrahim, Peace Jolis, Naason Solist and Edouce Softman, Bruce Melody and Israel Mbonyi who performed last Saturday. Iwacu Muzika Festival, which seeks to promote the Rwandan music industry by bringing together different artistes in their age brackets on the same stage, is organised by East African Promoters, in partnership with the ministry of Youth and Culture, Tembera u Rwanda, RBA, among others.
