I&M Bank Rwanda is showcasing its services at the Private Sector Federation (PSF) Expo 2024, which started on Thursday, July 25, and runs until August 15, at the Gikondo Expo Grounds. With the exhibition expected to attract over 600,000 visitors, according to the Private Sector Federation (PSF), the bank is engaging with customers and potential clients, offering a range of services including loans, deposits, withdrawals, and access to ATMs and digital channels. Their team is on hand to assist with both business and retail banking services. As part of their campaign, I&M Bank has partnered with Hotpoint in the ‘Ryoshya Iwawe’ retail campaign, where customers can acquire appliances worth up to Rwf 5 million and repay within six months at zero interest. Fiona Kamikazi Rutagengwa, Head of Marketing and Communications at I&M Bank Rwanda, explained that this initiative aims to help customers who wish to enhance their homes but may face budgetary constraints. The forms are available, and our team is ready to assist you through the process. One of the advantages of banking with I&M is that you receive a response within 24 hours. If eligible, your products will be delivered to you within that time frame,” she added. Rutagengwa said that the partnership with Hotpoint also includes delivery. Once a loan is approved, the Hotpoint team will deliver items like fridges directly to customers’ doorsteps. She noted that I&M Bank is committed to providing the quickest turnaround time on all services. “We are at the expo to change the lengthy processes customers experience in banking. We’re offering a fast turnaround, with all services available in less than 24 hours. “This commitment to a 24-hour service reinforces our dedication to customer satisfaction. You don’t have to wait a week for a response from your bank. That’s why we’re here, to provide immediate feedback. Our approval processes have been decentralised, making everything accessible at our expo booth,” she said. Rutagengwa said attendees are invited to visit the I&M Bank booth, where a variety of products are showcased, not only in retail banking but also in business banking. “As I&M Bank, we are a strong partner for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). We recognise that many businesses at the expo are SMEs, and they have the largest stands here. So, we are their bank,” she said. She added that for businesses still handling cash transactions, there is no need to transport money to I&M Bank branches. Additionally, for those needing a loan to enhance their expo booth or increase stock, the bank’s MSME department is present to offer support and services, bringing their offerings closer to where businesses have set up at the expo.
