The management of Kigali Arena has announced that they have extended the deadline of the the ‘Wed at the Arena’ campaign to July 31. The extension of Instagram-based campaign is to encourage more couples to participate in the competition and has nowengaged with various partners in the market to take part in the campaign. The campaign has started on June 8, and so far more couples have joined the competition and Kigali Arena. Some of the new partners that will collaborate with Kigali Arena for the prize of the winning couple include AffinityMediaRw as the sponsor of the wedding photography, the wedding cake will be provided by Prime Bakery& Café while Rwanda Events will offer the audiovisual production. Ian Boutique, on the other hand, will dress the bride and groom, Ubumuntu Perfect for protocol and service while entertainment will be delivered by Cloud9 entertainment which manages Bruce melody. Talking about the postponement via the arena’s social media handles, Director at Qavenue solution Kyle Schofield said that they are happy to be part of Rwandan ‘Gutwerera’ culture of kindly sending off couples who are looking forward to an exciting future together. Speaking on the covid-19 situation and this campaign Scholfield said; “We are all aware of the new covid -19 guidelines and will ensure all necessary measures are taken into account when weddings are given the green light,” he said.
