RWANDAN DJ AND SINGER DJ Marnaud and his counterpart Mike Kayihura, yesterday dropped a song and its visuals dubbed ‘Iyoroshye’ that will be used a soundtrack for the movie Duty chapter 2, set to be released on July 29. The video of the song was released after the artistes had been notifying followers on their social media platforms. The video involves singer B threy and other different actors, while the scenes in the song will be shown in the movie. Serge Girishya, the writer of ‘Duty 2’ told The New Times that the movie is an advanced one that he hopes people will like and encouraged everyone to watch it because it is better than the first part. “I choose Mike Kayihura and DJ Marnaud to have their song as the movie’s sound track because they are talented and they understood what my project was all about, so we worked together. “I advise anyone who has not yet watched Duty 1 to watch it before watching its part 2 so as to have a clue on what the movie is about. Duty 2 is of good quality and has so much in store for Rwandans,” Girishya said. “The feedback of Duty chapter 1 was amazing which is why I believe many people will enjoy watching its chapter 2 as well,” he added. Rwandan cinema is promising since people in the industry are putting so much effort in making it much better in the future, according to Girishya. This song comes as Mike Kayihura is preparing an EP called ‘Izuba’ of his unheard seven songs. Some of the actors in Duty 2 include Prince Ganza, Goretti Ishimwe as Mutesi, Bruce Rutikanga as Theo, Serge Girishya as Bruno, Didier Manzi and many others. The first part of Duty was released on April 24, last year, and can be found on the YouTube channel of Reba Prime where its part 2 will also be uploaded. Duty 2 was produced by Serge Girishya and Mbarushimana Jean Bertrand.
