French President Emmanuel Macron is in Rwanda on a two-day state visit. On day one Macron visited Kigali Genocide Memorial before a private meeting with his host President Paul Kagame. The two Presidents held a joint press briefing. Kagame and Macron also watched the Basketball Africa League (BAL) quarter-final game between Rwanda’s Patriots and Mozambique’s Ferroviario de Maputo at Kigali Arena.
