The game starts at 9pm, at Kigali. Home side Patriots advanced to the last eight stage after finishing second in Group A, behind Egypt’s Zamalek who booked their semi-final ticket on Wednesday. In an exclusive interview with Times Sport, Patriots star shooting guard Kenny Gasana said: “It’s the highest level of competition and everyone will be at their best. Me personally, I want to keep the same focus for each game, but I do understand the prize before us.” He added: “We will be going to play against Ferroviário de Maputo like a final game. We will do our best until the last second of the game.” Should Patriots move past Ferroviário, they will meet the winner between US Monastir of Tunisia and Senegal’s A.S.
