Rapper J. Cole will wear No. 15 at the inaugural Basketball Africa League BAL, which tips off in Kigali tomorrow. The Patriots’ newly signed shooting guard reportedly wore the same number while playing for his high school basketball. The Rwandan champions face Nigerian giants Rivers Hoopers in their first BAL game on Sunday, at 4pm CAT. The organisers have announced that Canal+ and ESPN will air all the games across the continent. The 36-year-old is one of four signings that Patriots have made to beef up their roster, along with Brandon Costner, Bush Wamutoka and Prince Ibeh Chinenye. The league consists of 12 teams, and J. Coles first game with Rwandas Patriots BBC will be against the Nigeria River Hoopers on Sunday. J Cole is known to be a huge basketball fan and has referenced Lebron James and Michael Jordan in his music, but has no professional basketball experience In 2012, he appeared in the NBAs Celebrity All-Stars game which is held during the leagues annual All-Stars Weekend. At the 2019 All-Stars game, he performed during the half-time show. Full-Squad: J.
