EASTERN PROVINCE NGOMA — Deputy Liberata Kayitesi has warned all those who are still harbouring genocide ideology with an intent to cause harm to others that they have no place in Rwanda. She was last Saturday addressing residents of Kibungo sector, Ngoma district shortly after communal work commonly known as ‘Umuganda’. Kayitesi observed that there are some people who even after 15 years of the 1994 Tutsi Genocide that claimed the lives after over a million Rwandans, are still bent on killing their fellow nationals with some actually going as far as killing the survivors of the Genocide. “Rwanda is a new country with a new vision. We are moving forward. Anybody who prefers to stand in our country’s way of development will be dealt with accordingly,” she said. “So anybody who is being convinced to kill others, be warned and better change your mind set. Rwanda is for all Rwandans. We should live together as an extended family,” She added. She called for tight security during the season of Genocide commemoration. She urged the residents to be part of the security to ensure total peace during the commemoration. Ends
