Rwandan center back Ange Mutsinzi has admitted that he is ready to embrace new challenge with new side Zira FK with whom he will be playing in the UEFA Europa League for the very first time in his career. The Rwanda international signed a two-year deal with Zira FK in early July. He had one year left on his FK Jerv contract before the Azerbaijani powerhouse triggered his buyout clause for an undisclosed fee to secure his services. Zira qualified for the Europa League after finishing their domestic league campaign in second place. The club has now named Mutsinzi in their 22-man squad for the 2024/25 Europa League campaign which will begin with a preliminary round match against Moldovan giants FC Sheriff. “I am really excited to join this club. It is a new journey, new challenge and new ambitions. I am looking forward to doing the best I can. I have changed my mentality to be at top again and believed in myself. Football is the same everywhere, and this mindset has helped me,” Mutsinzi told Weekend Sport.
