Renowned music producer Zizou Al Pacino is set to release his third album dubbed ‘Success from Suffering’, a discography which is more than just a collection of songs but a narrative of self-resilience, strength, inspiration and celebration of success achieved, however, born from challenges. The producer, born Zizou Iradukunda, is household a name synonymous with unity and innovation in the Rwandan music industry, justified by his smash all-star songs with acclaimed musicians of his generation since he launched his career in music production in 2009. Renowned for his ability to bring together various artists, producer Zizou has consistently pushed the boundaries of musical collaboration. His much-anticipated project promises to be yet another collection which could confirm his big role in Rwanda’s music scene and his career alike. The album symbolizes human resilience and triumph over adversity. “It is a combination of my musical journey and part of my life. It reflects the challenges I encountered along the way. In short, it summarizes the challenging aspects of my life and I hope it will inspire young creatives aspiring to be great musicians and so forth,” the producer said in an interview. Zizou Alpacino further revealed that the forthcoming project features 11 tracks that blend Hip-hop, Country music and RnB genres which he recorded with artistes from different generations in the industry. Of the 11 songs, two stand out: ‘Ibaruwa Kurijye Muto’ and ‘Kuba Umugabo,’ both of which are dedicated to people who are struggling to embrace hope for the future and overcoming hardships to achieve success. “In particular, ‘Ibaruwa Kurijye Muto’ narrates the life of an adult who has gone through hardships and various challenges while striving for success, ultimately succeeding. This person chose to write a message to their younger self about how life unfolds and share some life hacks,” he explained. “This project is very special to me. It’s about understanding the challenges people face and how they overcome them to achieve their dreams. I want these songs to inspire people and push them to go further in life,” he further emphasized. In 2012, he released Arambona Agaseka and feature then music stars like rapper Oda Paccy, Kamichi, Fireman, Danny Nanone, and Babu, who a new rap kid on the block. He also brought together Urban Boys, Ama G The Black, Priscillah, Fireman, King James, and Uncle Austin in Bagupfusha Ubusa,” which became a banger as well. In 2014, he released Fata Fata ft. Jay Polly, Uncle Austin, Teta Diana, and Urban Boys. In 2018, he released Wimfatanya N'isi featuring Diplomate, Social Mula, King James, Ziggy 55 and Uncle Austin. And, a year later, he dropped Niko Nabaye with Urban Boys, King James, Riderman, Uncle Austin. These are among projects which cemented his reputation as a force to reckon with in the Rwandan music industry. Zizou Al Pacino’s expertise in bringing together artistes from various backgrounds and styles in the same project has made him a big music personality and one of the unsung heroes of the Rwandan music for over the past decade.
