It was an excellent weekend for Rwandan players abroad as Emmanuel Imanishimwe helped AS FAR qualify to the Group stage of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup. CAF Confederation Cup Emmanuel Imanishimwe was a full timer for AS FAR Rabat who went to Guinea to beat Ashanti Gold Boys FC, 1-0. FAR qualified to the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on a 5-0 aggregate. Norway Joel Mugisha replaced Solbakken in the 78th minute and assisted the sixth goal as Bodo Glimt went to the Intility Arena in Oslo to humiliate Valeranga 6-0. Elsewhere, Goalkeeper Clement Twizere Buhake was outstanding as he pulled a series of saves in the Strommen IF 2-0 win over Odd II. Portugal Ange Mutsinzi played full throttle for CD Trofense who lost 1-0 to Famlicao in the third round of the Portuguese Cup. Cyprus Centre back Dylan Georges Maes tasted full 90 minutes of action for Alki Oroklini who lost 1-0 to MEAP Nisou in the Cypriot second tier. Moldova Steve Rubanguka saw 57 minutes of action for Zimbru Chisinau who defeated Petroclub 2-1. Luxembourg Glen Habimana was introduced in the second half as his side, Victoria Rosports, thrashed Etzella Ettelbruck 3-1. His fellow Rwandan national team mate Sven Kalisa was an unused substitute for Etzella. Sweden Rafael York made way for Ryan Williams in the 77th minute as AFC Eskilstuna lost 2-1 to Osters IF. In the Etan League, midfielder Gilbert Ishimwe was not involved as Orebro Syrianska walloped Sylvia IF 4-1. Holding midfielder Yannick Mukunzi is now recovering from a knee injury and was not selected by Sandviken in their 4-3 away win over Motala. Belgium Djihad Bizimana is finding playing time to be a scarce commodity. He was once again not called into the match day squad of KMSK Deinze who lost 2-1 to Beveren. In the 1ste National League, central midfielder Samuel Gueulette featured for Raal La Louviere who hammered Hoogstraten 4-0. England Noam Emeran was not in the Manchester United U21 team which went away to draw 3-3 with Chelsea.
