Emmanuel Hategeka, on Sunday, January 10, presented a copy of his credentials to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. With his official residence in Abu Dhabi, Amb. Hategeka is also Rwanda’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Speaking at yesterday’s virtual event, both Amb. Hategeka and Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani reiterated their commitment to help strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries. “It is a great honour for me to present a copy of my credentials to H.E Dr Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain as Rwanda’s ambassador-designate (non-resident). Our bilateral relations can only grow stronger,” Hategeka said. He added: “I look forward to strong collaboration for the benefits of the people of our two countries and to visiting Bahrain when the travel situation normalises.” The event took place amidst global travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Next, Amb. Hategeka is expected to present his letters of credence to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
