Striker Florence Imanizabayo has left Ugandan champions Kampala Queens after one year. Imanizabayo joined Kampala Queens in August 2023 from Rayon Sports WFC, where she had played for a year since joined from AS Kigali Women FC. She enjoyed an impressive spell at Rayon Sports where she scored 60 goals in a season to help the team earn promotion to the topflight league, catching the interest of the Ugandan side which eventually signed her before the beginning of the 2023/24 season. However, she struggled for playing time since her arrival at the Ugandan outfit, leading the club to let her go. According to sources, the striker could return to AS Kigali WFC ahead of the new season.
