Goalkeeper Angeline Ndakimana has spoken out for the first time after leaving AS Kigali for rivals Rayon Sports. The Rwanda international joined the Blues earlier this week after turning down an offer to commit her future with AS Kigali WFC. Ndakimana said that she was convinced by Rayon Sports WFC’s ambitious project during the talks before deciding to play for the club until June 2026. On a personal note, Ndakimana is convincedRayon Sports WFC can help her achieve her club career targets. They are a team that can help me improve my level in the game. The goal is to help them as much as I can and continue to win more trophies, she said. The fans are waiting for me and I will do my best and use all my strength to defend the club’s colors, she added. Ndakimana was courted by Saudi Arabian Women's League club Al Nors in June 2023 but her former club AS Kigali refused to release her.
