Rwandan topflight side Mukura Victory Sports have acquired Ghanaian defender Abdul Jalilu after successful talks. Jalilu, 24, was instrumental for Ghanaian club Dreams FC as he captained the club to the semifinals of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup. He has spent his career at Dreams FC where he graduated from the youth team (under 15) to the senior side before becoming the club captain for the past three years. A talented centre back, Jalilu is noted for his great defensive abilities, his passing, and his ability to move forward to attack. He will sign two years with the Mukura, reuniting with his former Dreams FC teammate Samuel Pimpong. Jalilu becomes the third Ghanaian player to move to Rwanda in the space of one week after Dauda Seidu and Richmond Lamptey who joined APR.
