Rayon Sports have completed the signing of Amagaju FC star playmaker Abdoul Rahman Rukundo on a two-year deal. Sources close to the club told Times Sport that Rayon earlier this week reached an agreement to pay Amagaju FC Rwf 20 million to secure the services of the Burundian player. Rukundo, who was on holidays in his native Burundi, arrived in Kigali on Friday morning to finalize the deal. He will earn a monthly salary of Rwf 800,000, Times Sport has learnt. Amagaju FC president Paul Nshimyumuremyi confirmed to Times Sport that the player “has left the club.” “He joined Rayon after expressing his desire to move, and we reached an agreement with Rayon, so the deal is done,” Nshimyumuremyi said. He becomes the second Burundian to join the 'Blues' this transfer window, days after Richard Ndayishimiye's move from Muhazi United on June 22. Rukundo scored 12 league goals and provided nine assists in his debut season with Amagaju FC.
