Editor,During this rainy season people who carelessly constructed their houses, are in danger of having them collapse and possibly take lives. I was walking around the suburbs of Kigali, only to realize that they are still some houses, not worth accommodating human beings. The problem is not the fact that they are cheap, it is because they were built in or near swamps. You can imagine what a house made of mud blocks looks like in such a rainy season. Since it is not practical to relocate them over a night, I would advise the authorities to remain on alert, so that they rescue them in case of danger. GATSATA
