Editor, I am writing you this evening to commend you on the excellence of your work for The New Times. I am deeply impressed by the quality of your articles. Your reporting on topics such as education, health, economic development, gender-based violence and other gender issues is outstanding. You are truly serving Rwanda. Rarely do I find such quality and dedication to journalism and national development. I read your newspaper from cover to cover, and virtually every day I find some piece of news, or a statistic, or an insight that helps me with my work to serve Rwandan children and parents. And so I thank you. I thank you for all the heartfelt work that goes into each issue. When I am no longer here, I shall continue to read The New Times from afar, and I shall think fondly of all of my Rwandan friends. Congratulations and thank you,Emily Vargas-Barón
