Editor, I recently went for a routine annual medical check at King Faysal hospital, and felt afraid when a laboratory attendant, demanded to get my blood sample using a needle. I have developed an injection phobia, due to the prevalent HIV/AIDS pandemic. I think I am right, since I have seen so many people catch the disease due to injections. Though, It is inevitable to be pierced as they try to get your blood sample, technicians should always be cautious, not to infect themselves or the patients. Let me hope our doctors are taking it seriously, to avoid any misfortune coming our way in the process. Remera
