Editor, I read in your paper an article written by a doctor, warning people on the dangers associated with alcoholism. In fact, very few people know how alcohol affects them, which is why they do not stop drinking. It is worse still when it is the young people indulging in the drinking, for they have little or no experience in the alcohol. What they do is to drink too much too fast, to avoid being seen by either their teachers or responsible parents, who would punish them. In the process, they slowly get addicted and find themselves in a very dangerous situation, where they are not only chased fro m school to be vagabonds, but also catch alcohol related diseases. I therefore, through your paper advice all-young people to stop alcohol consumption forthwith for their own good. Nyagatare
